Master File Writers Database

Purpose: To provide high quality and proven ECU recalibration files to professional tuners. All files are developed at Viezu HQ and are proven in road tests, dyno tests, MoT standard emissions tests and Euro 6 gas analysis standards.  Files are available for model derivatives in categories of: High performance, Economy, Blend of both.

Service: This is a self-service facility and is available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. By registering your email address we can keep you informed of new mod file releases and relevant general updates.  We know how busy you are and promise not spam you with unnecessary communications.

Special Files: More detailed customised files are also available including DPF removal, Special Projects and Specified Requirements you will need to contact desk@viezu.com for support. This support is available between 07:00 and 21:00 hours UK GMT Mon – Sat.

Confidentiality: Support is confidential and we offer a full non-disclosure process as a matter professional courtesy.

The Master Files Writer’s Database is for trade tuners and remapping professionals and is available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week.

You must operate a master tuning tool with checksum correction capability.

If you do not operate a master tuning tool with checksum correction capability you will not be able to successfully tune a vehicle. In this event please contact technical@viezu.com for checksum correction support. This support is available between 07:00 and 21:00 hours UK GMT Mon – Sat.

The Master Files Writer’s Database contains original as well as modified files for you to download.

The modified files are available in different categories for performance, economy or a blend of the two.

Master files are open and unencrypted. This means that the files can be reused and modified further by suitably experienced tuners with map editing software.

Please remember that checksums will need to be corrected for each vehicle where the file is to be used.

The tuning files are not unique to or tied to any particular tuning tool, remap or operating system.  The tool must however have checksum correction capability.

Email technical@viezu.com with the master file you require correcting, and your original read from the vehicle. We will then correct the data and return the file to you ready for upload and driving. There is no additional charge for this service.

Certain vehicles (typically but not limited to, Ford), have a number of files that have Identical hardware / software  and upgrade number matches from the ECU identification file. However, there are structural differences between the two files. Loading the incorrect file may result in incorrect running or functionality of components.  If you wish to have your original file checked for correct compatibility with the modified file in the database, then please upload your original file to the site with your requirements. The Technical Support Team will mail you back with a download link to the compatible matching modified file.
